FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers for borrowers, finance companies and advocates — about notices, hearings, awards and how Problex247 works.
About notices and your case
Why did I receive a notice from Problex247?
Your finance company has referred a dispute about your loan to arbitration, and the arbitration is run on Problex247. The notice tells you about the case and what happens next.
Is Problex247 a court?
No. Problex247 is an online dispute resolution platform. Your case is heard by an independent arbitrator, and the award they pass is binding under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and can be enforced like a court decree.
How can I see my case?
Open Track Case on problex247.com and enter your case number (PRX247-…) or your loan number, with your mobile number. You will see the stage, the next hearing and every notice.
My notice has no PRX247 number. What do I enter?
The case number is issued with the Acceptance Letter, so the first notices may not carry it. Enter your loan number instead.
I am a co-borrower or guarantor. Can I see the case?
Yes. You are a party to the case. Your own mobile number works on Track Case, and you receive the notices too.
Can I download the notices?
Yes. On Track Case, every notice sent to you is listed with View and Download buttons.
How do I know a notice is genuine?
Find the case on Track Case and compare the notice with the copy there. Emails from us come only from a problex247.com address. See "Verify a Notice" for the full checklist.
My mobile number or address has changed. What should I do?
Write to us or WhatsApp us with your case number and the new details, so that future notices reach you.
The details in the notice are wrong, or I never took this loan.
Tell us at once with your case number, and raise it before the arbitrator at the hearing — yourself or through your lawyer.
Hearings
How does a hearing happen?
Online, on video. You join from your phone or computer — no travel is needed.
How do I join?
Use the link in the hearing invitation (email or WhatsApp), or the Join Hearing button on Track Case. The link opens 30 minutes before the time. Enter your full name and allow the camera and microphone.
What do I need for the hearing?
A phone or computer with a camera, a microphone and good internet, a quiet place, and your documents and receipts if you want to show them.
I cannot attend on the date. What can I do?
Inform us before the hearing with your case number, or ask your lawyer to. The arbitrator decides whether to fix another date.
What happens if I do not attend at all?
The arbitrator may continue the case without you and pass the award on the evidence before them. It is in your interest to attend or be represented.
Is the hearing recorded?
The hearing may be recorded as part of the case record.
Lawyer, settlement and payment
Can I appoint a lawyer?
Yes. Record your lawyer through the Case Notice Response form with your case ID and mobile number. Your lawyer then also receives the hearing notice, the hearing invitation and the award.
Can I settle the matter?
Yes, at any stage. Talk to your finance company directly. A settlement, or full payment of the loan, can close the case.
Where should I pay?
Only through your finance company’s official channels — and keep the receipt. Never pay into an unknown link or a personal account.
The award
What is an award?
The arbitrator’s final decision on the claim. It binds both sides and can be enforced like a court decree.
Can I challenge the award?
An award can be challenged in court only on limited grounds, within a short time after you receive it. Take a lawyer’s advice promptly.
For finance companies
How can our company start?
Write or call us. We set up logins for your head office, zones and branches, and our team files your cases. See "For Finance Companies".
Can each branch see its own cases?
Yes. A branch sees its own cases, a zone its branches, and the head office every case — with complete details and the stage of each.
For advocates
How can I become an arbitrator on Problex247?
If you are an advocate with at least 15 years of practice, register online, complete the live verification and pass the eligibility exam. Joining is free. See the Career page.
Is there training?
Yes — our one-month ODR Course, currently free, open to anyone, with a certificate.
